Good Times in Gatlinburg....
Well, I forgot my camera this weekend! So, I'll have to write a thousand words to paint a picture in your head, just kidding.
We didn't do much on Thursday. Friday we ate at Pancake Pantry for breakfast and went to Black Bear Jamboree for supper. I also went shopping with my Mom that afternoon. Saturday was lazy-day! We ate at "home" both times and walked the strip downtown after supper.
We did share a FOOTLONG corndog Saturday (a five dollar corndog!). Actually they put two hotdogs on the same stick and cooked it. I thought it was quite clever. It was the first corndog I've had in a longgg time if not my first ever. I now LOVE corndogs. Who'd of thunk it?
Sunday we drove home after church and stopped in Chattanooga. We ate lunch at Carabba's and went to the mall for a little bit. We passed the mall and had to turn around. Turns out we were about 30 mins past it. So, we drove backkk across town and then almost had a wreck.
It's now 5 o'clock, and we're EXHAUSTED! Who knew a relaxing vacation could be tiring!!?? We had a blast and are glad to be home.

Levi's Birthday Bash...
Me and the Birthday Boy with our "Silly Faces". He kept laughing at us; this was like our fourth shot because he kept getting so cracked up he was laughing by the time I took the picture! Precious!
Ally, Me and Rae I don't get to see these two girls much, especially Ally! They are both such great and sweet young ladies!
Hannah in the Superman cape. She kept trying to get it off and put it back on herself. I have one picture with it on her upside down. I'll post it later!!
The best picture I could get of this little one with me. She is ALWAYS on the go! And her vocabulary... she grabbed my necklace and said NECK-LAC-E as if she was teaching me how to say the word. She talks so clearly!Hm.. I think this picture speaks for itself. Levi and I made Alex's hair stand up with a balloon's static electricity. Quite funny.
Tag... you're it!

Five things I NEVER pictured being in my life when I was 15: (It was suppose to be Five things you never pictured when you were 25, but I'm only 21. So...)
1.) Daniel... we were good friends, but I would have never pictured Daniel and I married. It's the best thing that ever happened to me besides becoming a Christian.
2.) Living in the house I grew up in. I always had ideas about how I'd decorate the house, but I never thought I'd actually have the opportunity to!!
3.) Being a teacher. I always always always said I'd NEVER be a teacher. I even chose a degree where I couldn't teach. Little did I know there'd be a way for me to become certified.
4.) Having nieces and nephews. It's one of the greatest blessings life has to offer. I was an only child, The idea seemed foreign to me. Not to mention having an "in-law" family that actually makes you feel like you've always been around.
5.) Being a Minister/Associate Minister's wife. I always looked up to women who supported their husband's work in the church. I never saw myself as someone that'd be able to do that. I'm so glad we chose to become a part of the church at Glencoe though!

He sure can cook.. And he sure can clean... What can't he do?
Well, we've been trying to eat at home lately. When it comes to cooking, I'm not the talented one. I can when I have too, but I hate it. Daniel enjoys it; so, we've divided up the household jobs. His is definitely cooking.
Here is my wonderful, talented husband in the kitchen! His food is out of this world good, but he sure is messy! I love to pick on him about his messiness, but the real truth is I wouldn't change a thing about him!
All joking aside, I just wanted to tell him thanks for all his hard work!! I love you!

New Year Ramblings
I hope everyone has had a Happy New Year so far!! We enjoyed the first week of the year lounging around the house and sleeping late everyday; however, all good things must come to an end as I started back to work on Monday. So far the kids have been pretty well behaved. I've been much more patient with their mischievous endeavors and curious questions this week than I was before our vacation. I actually have to admit I missed them during Christmas Break; well, at least some of them (the good ones). Hehe. Today has been solely devoted to nap taking. I have become quite the homebody in my "old" age. I opted to stay in and enjoy a home cooked meal rather than eat out tonight. (I must admit I didn't cook nor clean the kitchen after the meal though. That might have something to do with my decision.) However, we are planning an afternoon outing tomorrow to go to Applebee's and Sam's Club. We'll see where else we end up on our afternoon escapade.
I found this interesting item on eBay's main page while browsing for a shower curtain. This kinda' stuff is what makes me "tick". My dream job would include some kind of "toy" such as this. It is a concept commuter plane; the idea is to be able to drive it like a car, fly it like a plane, or drive it like a boat. The original idea also included a vertical take off. So, if you were sitting at a red light, you would be able to just lift up and fly over all the traffic. The idea was never completed, and it isn't safe to fly it. It's still a neat idea!
Think I'm a geek? Perhaps it's true, and that's quite alright with me. One simple question left though: What's that make Daniel? The beauty? Hehe!
